It is well known for its vast green areas and picturesque ponds, where residents enjoy spending time in the great outdoors.

The Windmill is a charming location that has a fun mini golf course for families and friends to play with one another. It also has an ice cream shop, perfect for sunny days. The Shadow Lakes Golf Course is a great destination for an excellent golf experience, and it also hosts lots of elegant weddings for Hopewell Township. Magg’s Restaurant is also on location, which serves an impeccable brunch on Sundays as well as lunch and dinner during the rest of the week.
 

Things to Do

 
Though a small area, Hopewell Township is full of fun activities. Hopewell Community Park features a two-acre lake where one can paddle boat or fish, plenty of open land to play a game or plan a picnic, a Nature Center for hosting events, and various cool trails to hike. The park also hosts a summer camp, Camp Lakewood, every summer that includes lessons on boating and archery as well as arts and crafts activities and scavenger hunts.

If in the mood for more nature, one can explore the Buttermilk Falls Natural Area, a shaded green area with picturesque waterfalls. Also, there is the Hopewell Dog Park for the locals’ furry friends to play. It was founded by a resident Eagle Scout, Chandler Dameron, underscoring Hopewell Township’s emphasis on local contributions.
